Overview
The Internet screen provides the user with an integrated internet browser and search engine. The user can scroll in the top bar and choose between “Favourites”, “Search” and “Address”. In the “Favourites” area the user can add favourites, which are configured individually (see the screenshots).
The user may modify or delete a current favourite as well as add a new favourite using the “Address” bar area.
The keyboard language can be switched between the local language and English when the user touches the icon. If the local language is English the language can’t be changed in the Internet screen by the user.
The user can also select “Search” and type a search term into the field in the middle of the bar area.
Finally the list of internet addresses is shown in the middle field. The user can scroll through the address list using the arrows and load any of the shown addresses. The user can touch some URL entry in the middle field of the search bar and the requested Internet page is shown on the screen. The list of the URLs, which are shown in the search field is with 10 entries each and can be paged down when the user touches the field “more”.
If the user wishes to enter a new search term he has to touch the “new search” field and type in the required headword.
The fields “Favorites”, “Search”, “Address” are selected, when the entry is highlighted and is shown in some different colour as the rest of the commands. For example the “Search” entry is highlighted colour in the search list screen. If the user wishes to select some commands, he has to touch the required field such as “Favorites”, “Search” or “Address” twice until the colour of the command changes.
In the right field of the bar the user can switch between the “new search” (search for the new term), “load” (load some URL) and “add” (add some URL to the list of the favourites).
visiomatic Home System makes it possible to surf on the internet round the clock, whereby the download function for the internet is disabled to prevent the security risk.
